You’ve been quiet today, keeping to yourself after our morning coffee. You seem annoyed, though I can’t figure out why. I’ve been quiet, giving you your space.

And then this little game began when you grabbed me by my wrists. You want to give me pleasure, which I appreciate deeply. You want to give rather than receive.

But I, despite my swollen parts, can’t play the game the way you think you want. Not today, not with the mood you’ve been in. Something needs to be worked out of you, and I need more time to figure out how.
